ASEF LinkUp 2026 Asia Europe Cultural Diplomacy Lab

ASEF LinkUp 2026 brings together arts managers, cultural practitioners, researchers, public policymakers, and institutional representatives to address critical global themes. The 2026 edition centers on Sustainability, Ethics, and Equity in International Cultural Relations.

The program takes a hybrid, multi-stage approach featuring virtual pre-sessions followed by a multi-day, fully funded residential lab in Ljubljana, Slovenia.

💵 What the Travel & Funding Grant Covers

Selected international participants receive a complete financial coverage package funded directly by the Asia-Europe Foundation and the Slovenian Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs:

✈️ International Airfare: Full coverage for round-trip flight tickets to Ljubljana, Slovenia.

🏨 Accommodation: 100% covered hotel stay in Ljubljana for the duration of the Lab.

Meals & Local Transport: Daily food allowance, conference meals, and local ground transportation.

Who Can Apply?

Background: Open to young and mid-career professionals, community managers, creative founders, researchers, and civil society leaders. No coding or technical background is required.

Age: Open to adults (18+).

Selection Criteria: Evaluated based on your statement of purpose, passion for international collaboration, and community impact.
