The U.S. Embassy is offering a life-changing opportunity to conduct research or develop curricula at top U.S. institutions through the Fulbright African Research Scholar Program (FARSP).
🎯 Two Grant Types Available:
1️⃣ Research Grants (3–9 months)
◆ For: PhD holders with 3+ years of teaching/research experience.
◆ Focus: Independent academic research (all fields except clinical medicine).
◆ Timing: Must begin between August 2026 – March 2027.
◆ 🔥 Pro Tip: Strong candidates have a proven publication record!
2️⃣ Curriculum Development Grants (3–5 months)
◆ For: Master’s holders (PhD not required!)—ideal for faculty/administrators.
◆ Focus: Enhancing courses, programs, or teaching methods at your home institution.
◆ Perfect if: You’re early-career or need exposure to U.S. academic trends.
✅ Who Can Apply?
◆ Citizens/permanent residents of Ethiopia (must hold an Ethiopian passport).
◆ Language: Fluent English (no TOEFL required).
◆ Health: Must submit a medical report if selected.
◆ Preference given to:
◆ First-time Fulbright applicants.
◆ Those with minimal U.S. experience.
